Yes. Marriott offers discounted Government & Military rates for eligible guests, subject to availability. Checked September 15, 2026.
Marriott Military Discount
How to check: select Government & Military when searching on Marriott's website or app, then open the desired hotel's Rate Details.
Who qualifies: use the requirements of that hotel and available rate. The official article says eligibility can vary by hotel and region. A search option does not establish that every veteran or retiree qualifies.
The two reviewed official articles publish no unified percentage. Unpublished does not mean no discount is available. Read the official military-rate article.

Read the qualification for the rate you select
The military article lists these categories in its identification section:
- Active-duty military, including the Department of Defense, Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and Coast Guard.
- Reservists who are active members of the military reserves.
- Personnel working for Federally Funded Research & Development Corporations (FFRDCs).
Official eligibility section, checked 2026-09-15. These categories are not expanded to all former service members or all accompanying guests.
The other article lists examples of documents that may satisfy particular requirements, including government identification, military identification and travel orders. It does not require every guest to provide every listed document. Use the hotel's Rate Details to determine the applicable requirement.
Veterans and retired military: a nationwide eligibility conclusion is Not confirmed in this review. Absence from these articles is not an official refusal. The reviewed articles also do not establish a universal rule that all leisure trips qualify or that every booking requires official travel orders.
Check rates on the website

- Choose Government & Military from the rate menu.

Check rates in the app
- Select the destination and stay dates.
- Open Special Rates, select Government & Military, and apply the selection.
- If that option is missing, the eligibility article directs users to enter GOV in Add Corp/Promo Code and apply it.
- Adjust the rooms and guests, find a hotel, and select a room.
- Open Rate Details and check eligibility before proceeding.

GOV is a rate-lookup code, not proof that identity has been verified. The military article also describes entering it through the corporate/promotional-rate search path. Identification remains a check-in requirement.
Keep other programmes and dates separate
Fairways for Service is a golf greens-fee benefit, not a hotel-room rate.
Offer-specific calendar start and end dates were not established in the reviewed lodging articles. That does not mean permanent validity. A discussion date, article update or another offer's dates do not establish a current room-price comparison.
This guide supplies no room quote, unified percentage, monetary calculation or points valuation.

Questions about eligibility and booking
How do I check a Marriott hotel military discount?
Search Government & Military rates, then read the desired hotel's Rate Details. The available rate's qualifications matter.
Is a Marriott veteran discount available to every veteran?
A universal conclusion for veterans or retired military is not confirmed by the reviewed articles. This is not an official denial; check the particular hotel's rate requirements.
Does a Marriott military rate use a fixed percentage?
The two reviewed official articles do not publish a unified percentage. No specific hotel's price or outside percentage is substituted for that missing information.
Does a Marriott Bonvoy military discount search verify my identity?
No. Selecting the rate or entering GOV is a lookup step. The official articles require valid identification at check-in and direct guests to the rate's qualifications.
Can every veteran use Marriott’s veterans discount?
Marriott’s veterans discount is not established for every veteran or retiree; eligibility can vary by hotel and region, and a search option alone does not establish universal eligibility.
