Yes. Mavis lists a 10% military discount on the total sales price before tax for active-duty military personnel, reservists and veterans. It is redeemed in-store with valid identification and does not apply to online purchases. Official military-discount policy.

Eligibility, checkout and exclusions

Tell the store-front manager you qualify when checking out in-store, and have military identification ready. The military page says the discount covers products and services. It does not list separate spouse or dependent eligibility, so do not assume another household member qualifies through your status.

The official policy excludes price-match and warranty transactions. It also prohibits combining the military discount with other coupons, vouchers or special offers. Keep those restrictions attached to the advertised rate. Military terms.

Mavis's general FAQ independently describes the calculation as a reduction from the gross sales price before sales tax, with the same combination and transaction exclusions. The service-deals FAQ says rebates and specials can often be combined, subject to individual exclusions. Its military-discount answer separately prohibits combining that discount with coupons, vouchers or special offers. The general rebate statement does not establish an exception to the military rule. The official Veterans Day landing page says its sale is over and asks readers to return next year, but that message does not identify a year. A separately dated Veterans Day military promotion was not found in this review. Do not turn the service specials displayed beneath that message into a dated Veterans Day military offer, or use their expiration to date the military program. This review does not establish that no future offer will be announced.

Calculation and choosing an eligible offer

Let S mean the qualifying total sales price before sales tax on a transaction eligible for the military discount. The supported conversion is 10% × S = 0.10 × S. This is a mathematical expression of the official rate, not an assumed purchase price or dollar saving. Sales tax is added afterward under the published calculation order; this guide does not assume a tax rate.

For the shocks-and-struts alternative, let P mean the parts amount the store confirms qualifies for that special. Its conversion is 25% × P = 0.25 × P. Labor is excluded from P. Do not apply the parts percentage to an entire installation invoice.

Our comparison: a discount on the pre-tax sale and a larger percentage restricted to parts do not use the same base. Ask for itemized quotes for the offers you can actually use, and compare the resulting total rather than adding their advertised savings together.
