A verification program or dated offer is not a standing coupon
Albertsons publishes military identity-verification guidance while leaving its public retail rate unknown. Safeway’s accessible for U page confirms generic status verification, not a military offer. Publix’s 2025 10% event has a known rate but a past date. Kroger’s verified-assistance produce and membership offers use different eligibility from military ID.
These findings should not be condensed into “all stores offer a discount” or “none offer a discount.” Each row preserves what its own source says and leaves the rest unknown.
Compare matching purchase amounts only
For a valid percentage offer, conditional savings are r × P, where r is the confirmed rate and P the qualified amount after the offer’s exclusions. If a cap C is printed, use min(r × P, C). Unknown inputs remain unknown.
A military grocery subtotal, selected produce, a Boost membership fee and a past holiday basket are different bases. Club points, personalized offers and member perks are separate benefits. Do not add percentages that do not reduce the same eligible amount.
Dated events and membership clocks stay separate
Publix’s 10% event was for November 11, 2025. Kroger’s produce deadline and five-month assistance re-verification period are different clocks. Safeway’s 2023 article update did not renew its expired listing. Albertsons document freshness rules do not set its coupon expiry.
A check date, press-release date, article update, verification expiry and purchase window are not interchangeable.
Keep location and checkout channel attached
Publix’s 2025 military event was in-store only. A Club Publix phone number or digital coupon does not change that event into an online military code. The other retailers’ pickup, delivery and regional terms remain brand-specific.
A shared industry category or company relationship does not extend one banner’s offer to another store. Check the intended retailer and location before applying the terms to an order.
Historical announcements do not renew themselves
Publix’s 2020, 2024 and 2025 corporate offers were distinct Veterans Day events with dates and eligibility terms attached to each year. They show past events, not automatic recurrence. No 2026 Publix campaign is inferred from them.
