Observed search sample and page-body audit
One main query, kroger military discount, was read in the existing Chrome session using English, US and non-personalized search parameters. Google reported that location could not be determined; this is not a claim of a verified physical-US location or universal ranking.
The sample contains the first ten distinct observed organic URLs: nine on the first page and the next unique entry on the following page. The first entry there repeated the previous page’s last URL and was not counted twice. Ads, AI summaries, related questions and video results were excluded. Six original bodies were readable; four remained unknown. Supplemental sources did not replace unread originals.

Supplemental regional and visual evidence
The four-store Wednesday article was a supplemental source, not a replacement rank. Its body and directly viewed Kroger-credited location graphic supplied the limited historical scope. Article metadata dated the reporting; the graphic did not provide full item exclusions or a policy expiry.
The 2025 report and 2026 regional report are news evidence, not the full original retailer coupons. Each remains bounded to the channel, dates and geography actually stated. No benefit documents, account changes, verification, shopping or merchant contact were performed.
Calculation method
Percentage formulas require a confirmed rate and qualifying amount from the same offer. Produce, membership fees and historical holiday baskets are different bases. Missing caps, exclusions, tax treatment or combination permissions are left unknown; no actual customer saving is estimated.
