PetSmart grooming military discount: Tuesday services and add-ons

The official military/senior grooming clause covers grooming services and add-on purchases on Tuesdays with Treats Rewards membership. It excludes merchandise and all other services. Store prices vary, appointments depend on availability, and pet age, health and vaccination requirements apply. PetSmart may decline some pets at its discretion.

Confirm that your appointment and selected add-ons qualify before the service. The military clause does not provide a tax/fee calculation rule, a full stacking order or a fixed dollar cap. Those missing terms are not treated as unlimited rights or filled from a neighboring promotion.

Tuesday is the recurring condition for this grooming offer. It is not evidence that every PetSmart purchase receives a military discount that day.

Military and veteran eligibility: use the exact service wording

The grooming clause explicitly lists Reserves, National Guard, active members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and Coast Guard, retired members and spouses. It says expired military ID or a DD214 may be accepted as proof of service.

Retired members are expressly included. The clause does not separately spell out every other former-service or veteran category, and the accepted-document list is not a complete eligibility decision for every applicant. Confirm an unlisted status with the salon rather than assuming either approval or rejection.

The hotel military clause calls for government-issued identification verifying service; it does not repeat the salon’s entire group and document list. Do not automatically transfer salon proof alternatives or spouse wording to every hotel booking. Senior-age and first-responder conditions belong to their own qualifying groups.

PetsHotel: the same percentage has a different base

The official monthly-services page separately offers 10% off an overnight stay at PetsHotel. Its terms limit the offer to one discount per stay, exclude merchandise, and exclude all add-ons, Doggie Day Camp and PetsHotel Bundle Packages.

This is the key difference from grooming: salon add-ons are included in the grooming clause, while hotel add-ons are excluded from the hotel clause. The monthly page mentions playtime included during overnight stays, but that does not override the exclusion of separately purchased Doggie Day Camp from the discount.

The hotel clause does not independently state a Treats Rewards requirement or a Tuesday-only restriction. Confirm any booking/account requirements with the hotel; the salon’s conditions are not silently copied across. The separate PetsHotel-special-offers page did not yield readable terms in this review, so this hotel row relies on the readable official monthly-services paragraph.

Online booking is different from an online military shopping code

The official offers page provides service-booking links and describes service eligibility and proof. That is not proof of a public military code that discounts a merchandise shopping cart. No universal PetSmart military promo code was verified.

Both reviewed service offers exclude merchandise. Online booking of an appointment does not change that exclusion. Confirm with the service team how eligibility and the discount will be recorded for your booking; no booking, identity verification or checkout was tested here.

ID.me Shop lists ordinary PetSmart cashback and coupons. Its military directory’s awareness statement is not a nationwide brand denial, and its general cashback listing does not establish the salon’s verification process. Do not add a cashback percentage or an ordinary coupon headline to the military service rate.

Before you book or check in

1. Choose the correct service: Tuesday grooming or an eligible PetsHotel overnight stay.
2. For grooming, check your Treats Rewards membership and ask the salon to confirm your appointment and add-ons.
3. Confirm your military category and acceptable proof with the relevant service associate. Hotel and salon clauses do not state identical document rules.
4. Review the pet’s age, health and vaccination requirements and service availability. This offer page does not supply every detailed admission requirement.
5. Ask for the eligible service subtotal, excluded items, any taxes or fees and applicable combination rules before paying.

The hotel clause directs eligible military customers to show identification to a Services associate for a coupon. No account or reservation was created during this review.

Calculate service savings without discounting the whole receipt

Let G be the eligible grooming-service and salon-add-on amount confirmed for the Tuesday offer. Its stated rate gives grooming saving = 0.10 × G. Let H be the confirmed eligible overnight-stay amount after separating the hotel’s excluded extras. The hotel calculation is boarding saving = 0.10 × H.

No service price or dollar saving is assumed. The military clauses do not define every tax/fee treatment or permission to combine programs. Do not apply the percentage twice to an already-discounted amount or treat the two programs as an added percentage on one whole bill.

The same percentage does not mean the same saving. Compare the itemized eligible charges and final total for the service you actually need.

Military discount day, review date and expiry are separate

Sources were checked September 22, 2026. Tuesday is the grooming offer’s recurring service-day condition. Neither military clause in the readable official page publishes a fixed start or end date. That absence does not promise permanent availability.

The page also contains unrelated seasonal promotions and a new-customer package with their own dates and validity periods. None of those deadlines is borrowed for the military offer. Third-party article-update dates are also not policy start or expiry dates.

What remains unconfirmed

The official monthly-services body was obtained in full after earlier access failures. The separate PetsHotel offer page and the original Military.com result remained unreadable. No search-result excerpt was used to replace either missing body.

A storewide merchandise military rate, universal online code, complete stacking order, exact tax/fee calculation and every unlisted eligibility category were not established. Those fields remain unknown. Reports of a local exception or an old employee discussion do not establish a current nationwide policy.
