Search and reading method
Query: military discount flights. Search URL parameters were hl=en, gl=us, and pws=0. The result page footer said location could not be determined. Results were read on September 26, 2026 using the configured Playwright MCP.
Order below preserves the observed sequence of standard web-result links. Ads, AI Mode controls, People also search modules, and Q&A results were not used as ordinary page-body evidence. Each readable result was opened and its body read; snippets did not replace an unreadable page.
The page exposed nine web-result links and displayed a notice that one result had been removed under a DMCA complaint. No tenth result URL or body was available, so the sample is incomplete at position 10; no replacement was invented.
Targeted recheck on September 27, 2026 found the same nine standard web links and the same DMCA notice. People also search suggestions were collected separately as unranked query ideas. The Reddit Q&A page returned HTTP 403 when opened for language research; no title or snippet was used as a user quote.

Third-party, historical, and unknown claims
Third-party rates stay attributed to their publishers and are not substituted for airline policy. No historical offer page was used as current evidence in this review.
| Third-party page | Claim and basis as read | Eligibility/channel/date boundary |
|---|---|---|
| MilitaryFares | FAQ claims 10% to 40% off retail prices. A comparable route, dates, fare class, and base were not provided in the text read. | Its page lists active duty, veterans, reservists, National Guard, and immediate family and describes verification through military ID, DD-214, VA ID, or GovX. Unknown fields are not negatives. No cached or archived copy was used to replace an unreadable page. The MilitaryOneSource URL had a DNS-name resolution error; Alaska returned 406; the United policy pages did not expose a readable body. On September 27, 2026, American Forces Travel returned 403 with a human-verification prompt, so its current body remains Unknown. MilitaryFares and GOVX were readable and their current structure was reviewed; the GOVX eligible-groups panel describes GOVX membership, not airline fare terms.
