Official daily terms and the ended event are not combined
| Opened source | What its body states | Base and limits | Route and date scope |
|---|---|---|---|
| Official Columbus Zoo Discounts page | Active and non-active duty military: $4 off up to six tickets; valid military ID at the front gate; not online. | The page's introductory copy says listed discounts are available throughout the year; no military-specific start/end date stated. | No total savings calculated; ticket-price base and whether the service member counts in the six-ticket cap are not clarified. |
| Official Fall 2026 ticket-discounts blog | Repeats the $4 discount on up to six tickets, valid military ID, and purchase at the Zoo. | Published September 10, 2026; no military-offer period stated. Publication date is not an offer end date. | The blog provides a second official mention, not a different rate or additional ticket cap. |
| Official Military Family Days event page | One free Day Pass plus up to five additional passes at 50% off for military members past and present. | Proof of service; purchase at main gate on the visit day; event page itself omits year in its heading. | Official 2026 news announcement dates the event June 29-July 3, 2026; now ended. |

| Columbus on the Cheap | Third-party report repeats the 2026 Military Family Days free and half-price event terms. | Its advance-reservation claim conflicts with the official day-of main-gate instructions. | Event dates are June 29-July 3, 2026; the article's update date is not the policy period. |
| WorthEPenny coupon page | The readable body makes inconsistent flat-dollar and percentage-range claims. | Eligibility, ticket base, and limits are not consistently stated; not treated as official policy. | Third-party online claims; no offer-valid period established. |
The everyday official offer is the flat $4 front-gate discount. The 50% rate belongs to the dated 2026 Military Family Days event and ended July 3, 2026. Meta AI-generated text, Military.com search text, Zoombezi Bay terms, and the inconsistent coupon-site claims do not fill gaps in the Zoo's official policy.
