SaluteScoutNational Aquarium Military Discount
The National Aquarium's official Special Offers page lists year-round, on-site military/veteran pricing of $39.95. It separately lists $5 off regular admission for Military Personnel through Maryland Mornings, a Maryland-resident weekday program with onsite purchase and blackout dates. The two rates and eligibility paths are kept separate.

The official page lists $39.95 year-round on-site pricing
The Aquarium's current Special Offers page describes a fixed $39.95 on-site ticket price for guests with active military ID or veteran ID. It specifies adult admission ages 21-69, dependent eligibility for active military, and the veteran identification forms accepted at the box office. It gives no percent discount, comparison price or end date; no savings calculation is made.
| Official offer/channel | Rate | Base and limits | How to claim | Date status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Official year-round Military Pricing | $39.95 on-site ticket pricing for guests with active military ID or veteran ID. | Active military personnel and their dependents who qualify for adult admission (ages 21-69) can receive this pricing. Adult-eligible veterans (ages 21-69) qualify with the listed veteran documentation. No guest cap is stated. | Present the applicable military/veteran identification in person at the Aquarium box office. No online route is stated for this special pricing. | The page calls it year-round and states no end date. Checked September 25, 2026; that is the review date, not an expiry date. |
| Maryland Mornings military rate | $5 off regular ticket price for Military Personnel. | Maryland residents only; visit before noon Monday-Friday. Not valid on weekends or the listed 2026 blackout dates; cannot be combined with other offers. | Buy on-site at the Aquarium ticket window, reference Maryland Mornings and show proof of Maryland residency. The page does not state a separate military-ID condition for this program. | The page says weekdays year-round but lists blackout dates: Feb 14-16; Apr 3, 4 and 6; May 23-25; Jul 4, 11, 18 and 25; Sep 5-7; Nov 20; Dec 26-31, 2026; and Jan 1, 2027. |
| Military base / MWR ticket channel | The Aquarium says tickets are sold through military bases nationwide; local MWR/ITT offices provide the available rates. | The Aquarium page names active duty, reserve and retired members as the audience to check with local MWR/ITT; it gives no Aquarium-wide MWR price. | Check with the local MWR/ITT office for its ticket availability and rate. | No general MWR offer-validity period is stated on the Aquarium page. |
Maryland Mornings is a different offer. Its $5 reduction applies to regular ticket price for Military Personnel only within the Maryland-resident weekday program. Residency proof, on-site purchase, non-combination and the listed blackout dates remain attached to that row; it is not added to the $39.95 year-round rate.
A separate Carlisle MWR offer was dated through 2025
The Aquarium's official page directs military base ticket buyers to their local MWR/ITT office for rates. The Carlisle Barracks LTS page gives a specific $39.25 military ticket price for a January-December 2025 promotion and says to redeem the e-ticket at Will Call. That is a dated MWR sale, not the Aquarium's current on-site offer, and its promotion period has ended.
| MWR source | Ticket price | Eligibility / ticket details | Purchase and redemption | Promotion dates / status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Carlisle Barracks LTS MWR ticket listing | $39.25 for Active Duty Military, including direct dependents with military ID. | One-day e-ticket; dependent group named as spouses and teen/adult children. The MWR page states its price list separately from the Aquarium's on-site offer. | Purchase through Carlisle Barracks Leisure Travel Services; redeem the ticket at Aquarium Will Call for an entry time. | Promotion dates: January 1-December 31, 2025; ended. The page says 'Paid Advertisement. No Federal Endorsement Implied.' |
Undated and third-party claims do not replace the live ticket terms
The official Special Offers page is the source for the year-round $39.95 on-site price and the separate Maryland Mornings military terms. Carlisle Barracks LTS is a separate ticket sale dated January 1-December 31, 2025, which has ended. The October 29, 2013 Tripadvisor entry is one customer's experience, not an official Aquarium policy statement.
