The official page does not say whether the 10% applies to the advance or day-of General Admission price. The Plan Your Visit page lists both schedules but does not connect either price to the military discount. No dollar savings amount is calculated.
Membership discounts use a different purchase base
The Zoo's Offers page separately lists 10% off memberships for military, seniors 65+, and City of Jacksonville employees with valid ID. It limits the offer to one discount per purchase, excludes gift membership certificates, à la carte options, and Heart of the Zoo Society memberships, and says the discount cannot be applied later.
A separate VyStar page describes 10% off a new annual membership for VyStar members using code VYSTARTY10. That is a partner membership offer; the page does not say military status is required. Neither membership discount is folded into the General Admission 10% rate.
