Hyundai Military Discount: Check the Date Your Status Evidence Supports
Hyundai advertises a $500 bonus on eligible new purchases or leases. Its terms require qualifying military status for the customer or spouse at the beginning of the program period. The displayed period is January 7 through December 31, 2026. A later verification date alone does not establish that earlier status condition; confirm how your dated evidence meets the terms with the dealer.
Official terms read October 30, 2026. No identity, document, verification or dealer transaction was submitted. The dated examples below are invented evidence records, not real applicants or approved cases.

Read the historical condition against the evidence
Make a dated-evidence sheet with three fields: the rule's reference date, the record's issue date, and the service date or status period the record actually supports. Enter January 7, 2026 as the reference for the displayed period. Keep the other fields independent: a document issued later can describe earlier service, while an issue date alone does not establish a service start date.
Try two hypothetical records, both issued October 30. Record A explicitly establishes qualifying status since January 1; record B establishes only status on October 30 and says nothing about earlier dates. A supplies a historical link across the January 7 reference. B leaves that historical field Unknown. B does not prove that service began in October or that the shopper had no earlier qualifying status. Identical issue dates therefore cannot justify copying the same historical-status finding into both rows.
For a blank historical field, ask the dealer which dated proof or written program clarification resolves it. Preserve the answer beside that field rather than replacing the reference date with today's date. Completing this sheet checks what the evidence says; it does not authenticate a document, complete ID.me, approve a spouse or establish that a vehicle qualifies.
Who is eligible for the Hyundai Military Program?
The program lists active-duty, Reservist/National Guard, veteran and retired U.S. military categories, including its customer-or-spouse route. Use Hyundai's ID.me entry before purchasing. The terms require dealer-stock vehicles and exclude fleet, service rental and demo vehicles; Hyundai Circle sales and the First Responders Program cannot combine with this offer.

Why can't I just show a military ID card?
The official FAQ requires ID.me verification rather than treating presentation of a military ID card as the complete online process. It directs verification problems to ID.me support. This is separate from a dealer's decision about the dated program conditions.
