What the readable official pages establish
The current official Hours + Admission, Accessibility, homepage and Membership page bodies were readable in this review. They describe ordinary admission, community-access programs and membership benefits, but do not establish a year-round military admission discount. This is a finding about the pages reviewed, not a claim that Denver Zoo never offers one.
The Hours + Admission page also has a 15% discount for non-profit and government agencies and members for private-event venues. That applies to event-space rentals, not military admission; it is kept out of the military-offer result.
| Official source | What the page body says | Base and limits | Route | Date status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Official Hours + Admission | The readable page lists general admission and community-access terms, but no military-specific admission rate or eligibility. Its private-event venue discounts for non-profit/government agencies and members are a different product and audience. | No military base or military-specific limit is stated in the opened page body. | The page links to ordinary timed-ticket reservations; no military claim route is stated. | Checked September 25, 2026. This is a review date, not a policy start or end date. |
| Official Accessibility and Equitable Access | The page lists senior, SNAP/EBT, community-program, free-day and aide access; none is described as a military admission offer. | The listed limits attach to their own programs, not military eligibility. | Program-specific reservations or proof requirements are described on the page; no military route is stated. | Checked September 25, 2026. No military offer-validity date was found in this page body. |
| Official homepage | The readable homepage body links to tickets, membership and current events; it does not state military-discount terms. | Unknown for any standing military offer; the homepage does not set one out. | No military-specific route is stated. | Checked September 25, 2026; the date is the review date only. |
| Official Membership page | Membership prices and member benefits are listed. They are not described as a military discount. | Membership benefits apply to members under the listed plans; no military eligibility or military-specific base is stated. | Purchase a membership through the official member route; this is not a military-offer route. | Checked September 25, 2026; no military-offer validity date is stated. |
The readable military-related offers are dated historical records
The Zoo's November 2023 social post described a limited, complimentary timed-ticket offer for a fixed date window. Vet Tix also has a January 2014 Denver Zoo Lights event listing. Neither source establishes a current year-round admission policy. The Vet Tix event is a third-party ticket listing, so it is not presented as Zoo-authored terms.
| Source | Benefit stated | Eligibility and limit | Claim route | Date / status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Official Denver Zoo Instagram post | The post offered complimentary timed-admission tickets; it did not state a percentage or comparison price. | Active-duty, veteran and retired military and immediate family; ticket supply was limited. The post listed accepted proof documents. | Reserve the complimentary timed ticket online and present the listed proof at entry. | November 4-11, 2023; historical event, not current terms. |
| Vet Tix Denver Zoo Lights event listing | The event page gives no military discount percentage or public price comparison; it says one pass is one admission. | One pass covers one admission. Additional ticket terms are not treated as a standing Zoo policy. | Vet Tix account and military-service verification were required to access ticket information. | January 2, 2014 event listing; historical third-party event. |
Third-party claims and inaccessible pages stay in their own lanes
WorthEPenny says it found no official Denver Zoo military program, but that is a third-party statement, not a Zoo denial. Its general coupon percentages are not tied to military eligibility and are not used as military rates. The two Military.com pages could not be read after repeated opens, and the Facebook result is a generated Meta AI summary; none is used to fill the official-policy gap.
