Observed search sample and body audit
One main query, build a bear military discount, was observed in the existing Chrome session with English, US and non-personalized parameters. Google’s footer reported that location could not be determined. The All view rendered nine organic entries; the next page supplied the next observed entry. The table follows cumulative observed order, not a claim of a complete single-page or universally fixed US ranking.
Eight original public bodies were readable and two remained unknown. Ads, AI summaries and related-question modules were excluded. Ordinary sale percentages do not count as military rates; historical, third-party and customer claims retain their source status.
| Observed entry | Body status | Reading and limit |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Build-A-Bear Workshop Salutes U.S. Troops in Celebration of ... — brand official | readable | Official historical release: 20%, US stores, military ID and specified military/dependent groups. The May–June 2010 offer is not current; announcement and offer dates are separate. |
| 2. Military & Profession Plush Toys — brand official | readable | The original US product body was read in Chrome after another retrieval redirected abroad. Uniforms and themed products are merchandise, not a customer eligibility policy. |
| 3. 20% Off Build-A-Bear Military & Veteran Discounts - buildabear | readable | Third-party claims include 20%, a 10%–25% range and online/App use. Its linked primary source is the 2010 store announcement; no current official extension was established. |
| 4. The Offers & Events You Love — brand official | readable | Official ordinary offers and their terms were readable. General sale codes, birthday pricing and gift cards do not establish a military rate. |
| 5. 10% off at Build-A-Bear : r/nationalguard | readable | Customer describes a $6.50 subtotal reduced to $5.85. The implied 10% is a personal report, not a verified receipt or national policy. |
| 6. ID.me Shop | Exclusive Deals, Discounts & Cash Back Offers | unknown | The original general homepage yielded only a partial shell or an access challenge. Brand offer content was not readable; no absence or verification-program conclusion is inferred. |
| 7. Build-A-Bear® Sales & Promotions — brand official | readable | The official US sale page and general promotion conditions were readable. Ordinary markdowns are not military percentages. |
| 8. Build A Bear Military Discount | unknown | The original social page showed login/navigation but no readable posts. Titles and search excerpts were not substituted for content. |
| 9. First Responders Plush Toys & Teddy Bears — brand official | readable | The original US First Responders product catalog was read in Chrome; the foreign redirect seen elsewhere was excluded. Product themes do not confer customer discount eligibility. |
| 10. I LOVE Build-A-Bear and I need to RAVE about it! — first entry on next page | readable | The original discussion and visible replies included advice to ask about a veteran discount, without a rate or complete terms. Unread replies and unrelated recommendations were excluded. |
