Check the event before counting the days
Build a two-offer event log: tag each dated message with the offer it belongs to, then name its starting event. Here is a hypothetical timing audit, using whole-day labels rather than a customer's records. Suppose military validation happened on Day 0, an email welcome coupon arrived on Day 12, and an order was placed on Day 20. The military replacement rule points to Day 30 from validation. Counting from the welcome message would move that military checkpoint to Day 42; counting from the order would move it to Day 50. Those extra twelve or twenty days are an anchor-selection error, not a longer published military waiting period.
