Yes. Avis offers a military and veteran member discount: the specific offer says **up to 35% PAY NOW**, while the partnership article and military directory row each say **up to 25%**. The directory lists **AWD T765700**. The described route requires subscription membership.

# Avis Military Discount

Official Rates and Code, Kept Separate

Enter the membership AWD at the start of an online booking. The code does not verify identity or guarantee the highest advertised saving. These are separate published claims, not one discount range. Checked 2026-09-15.

## Compare the official wording

| Official source | Advertised rate and code | Applicable base | Combining offers | Source location and review date |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Specific military offer | Up to 35% on PAY NOW rates | Time and mileage charges only. Taxes, fees and optional products are extra; car group X is excluded. | The offer prohibits use with another AWD number, promotion or offer. | [Offer Details; Terms and Conditions](https://www.avis.com/en/offers/partners/wesalute); checked 2026-09-15. |
| Official partnership article | Up to 25% | The article describes U.S. car rentals but does not specify PAY NOW or Pay Later, or a more precise calculation base. | The article says members receive coupons that can be combined with their discount. | [Partnership description](https://www.avis.com/en/business-programs/miles-points-partners/other-partners/veterans-advantage); checked 2026-09-15. |
| Official coupon directory: military row | Up to 25% off base rates; AWD T765700 | Base rates, as stated in the veteran and military-family row. | Separate, general guidance on this page allows an AWD with a coupon, but not multiple AWD numbers or multiple coupons. It is not a waiver of specific offer restrictions. | [AWD Numbers; How to get Started](https://www.avis.com/en/offers/us-offers/coupon-codes); checked 2026-09-15. |

The military directory link leads to the specific PAY NOW offer, but that link does not establish a guaranteed percentage or completed eligibility verification. We have not resolved the difference between the published statements, and do not relabel the partnership rate as Pay Later.

The directory also carries a separate Best Price Guarantee offer. It is not the military row and is not used as evidence for this military benefit.

## Membership eligibility and rental requirements

The specific offer lists U.S. military veterans, active-duty military, National Guard and Reservists, and enrolled immediate family members. It is limited to U.S. and Canadian residents renting at participating locations in those countries.

The partnership article lists eligible next of kin as a spouse, mother, father, brother, sister, son or daughter. These are membership enrollment categories, not exemptions from Avis rental requirements.

Renters must meet Avis age, driver and credit requirements. Minimum age varies by location; renters under 25 may incur an additional daily surcharge. A booking form default is not an age-eligibility rule.

## How to use the documented online route

- Open the specific Avis military offer and follow its subscription-membership route if eligible.

- Obtain the membership AWD described in the official partnership article.

- Select pickup and return locations, rental dates and times.

- Enter the AWD in the discount-code area at the beginning of the booking, not at the end.

- Review the resulting vehicle prices and the conditions attached to the selected offer. The specific offer says the discount appears on the next vehicle-selection page.

The reviewed Avis pages do not establish a complete military-document upload process, an accepted-document list or a pickup verification checkpoint. These remain unconfirmed; not confirmed does not mean no verification exists. General driver-license preverification is not evidence of military verification.

## Rental conditions are not campaign dates

The specific PAY NOW offer excludes car group X. Taxes and concession, vehicle-license and customer-facility recovery charges may apply separately. Optional damage coverage and refueling are extra.

Weekly rates require at least five rental days. Weekend rates are available from Thursday noon, with return by Monday 11:59 p.m. to avoid a higher rate. A Saturday-night stay and advance reservation may be required. These conditions do not mean every rental must last five days.

Availability, participating locations, blackout periods, return restrictions and eligible rates can limit the offer. Avis reserves the right to change it without notice. [Terms and Conditions](https://www.avis.com/en/offers/partners/wesalute); checked 2026-09-15.

Dedicated calendar start and end dates were not established in this review. That does not mean permanent validity. Weekly and weekend conditions are not campaign dates; an unrelated coupon expiry is not the expiry of this offer.

Unlike a single-rate summary, this guide keeps the specific offer, partnership article and directory wording together without resolving their differences on the reader's behalf. No rental quote, monetary saving or invented unit-conversion example is supplied.

## Frequently asked questions

### What does military avis discount refer to here?

The subscription-member rental route described by Avis, with the published source statements kept separate.

### Who can use an avis car rental military discount?

Use the specific offer eligibility and membership conditions above. Family enrollment does not waive rental requirements.

### Is an avis rental military discount the same through every channel?

That was not confirmed in the reviewed pages. The documented online route does not establish telephone or counter price parity.

No identity-verification conclusion follows from code entry. The directory AWD is a booking discount identifier, not proof that membership or military status has been checked.

### Can an avis military coupon code be combined with an AWD?

The directory provides general combination guidance, while the specific offer has its own restriction and the partnership article describes combinable coupons. Check the applicable offer; there is no universal stacking conclusion here.

### Does this guide also cover a veterans discount?

Yes. This wording refers to the military-benefit question discussed in this guide. It does not create a separate offer or broaden the eligibility and availability described above.
